Documentation that survives an audit
Recovered material is only useful if you can prove what happened to it. Every collection we make produces a weighbridge ticket, a waste transfer note and a recovery route we can describe in writing.
This page sets out exactly what you receive, and what we do not claim.
What you receive on every collection
Four documents or records, issued per load rather than summarised at the end of a period.
Weighbridge ticket
The weight recorded as your material crossed the weighbridge, linked to the collection and the container.
Waste transfer note
A transfer note recording the material, the quantity and the destination, issued against your premises.
Recovery route statement
A written description of what happens to the material after sorting, available on request for your own records.
Tonnage summary
Collected tonnages you can use for landfill diversion reporting within your own environmental management system.
What we do not claim
Being precise about this is part of the service. Where a claim depends on an assumption we cannot audit for you, we will not put it in writing.
We do not publish figures we cannot evidence
We do not state tonnages processed, customer numbers or claimed emission savings. Those figures belong to a period, a method and a boundary, and we will not attach them to a page to make it read better.
We do not describe ourselves with words we cannot support
We avoid badge language such as certified, accredited or approved unless it attaches to a specific scheme with a certificate number behind it. Where you need a formal assurance, tell us what your audit requires and we will tell you whether we hold it.
What we can evidence is the operational record: collection dates, container references, weighed tonnages, grade descriptions and the recovery route for each load.

Collection
Container or bulk load collected from your site by our vehicle, with the collection recorded against your premises.
Weighing
Material weighed on the bridge and the ticket issued against the load reference.
Sorting and processing
Grades separated and processed, with the batch identified so the record follows the material into supply.
Supply and record
Material supplied to a mill, foundry or processor, and the destination noted against your transfer note.
