We collect only what we need to quote for and provide a collection service:
- Contact details you give us: name, company, email address and telephone number.
- Site details: the collection address and postcode, and access information you provide.
- Service records: material types, container references, collection dates and weighed tonnages.
- Correspondence: enquiries, quotations and instructions you send us.
We do not collect special category data and we do not buy contact lists.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotations;
- arrange and carry out collections, and issue transfer documentation;
- keep the records needed for waste transfer notes and tonnage reporting;
- raise invoices and keep accounting records;
- meet our legal obligations as a waste service provider.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interest in running the business.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to provide the service or where the law requires it. This can include the recovery site or processor receiving your material (as part of the transfer documentation), our accountants, and our insurers or advisers where necessary.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Waste transfer and tonnage records are kept for the period required by waste legislation. Enquiry and quotation correspondence is kept while the relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can answer questions about past collections. Accounting records are kept as required by tax law.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, and in some circumstances to have it erased or to restrict how it is used. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
